My Nostell
The Nostell Estate is a marvellous place to work & live
Our business, agriculture & residential tenants will all tell you as much.
A place as special as The Nostell Estate speaks for itself. The estate is home to over 50 businesses, three working arable farms and 40 families. Many of our wonderful tenants have worked and lived on Nostell land alongside Lord St Oswald and his family for decades. Still, this unassuming community remains somewhat of a hidden gem. Places are precious. If you find yours, you’ll want to hold on to it.
Sound too good to be true? Allow our tenants to tell you why The Nostell Estate is a better place to work.

We’re proud that the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) chooses to call The Nostell Estate home. The YAA joined us in 2013 on the old Nostell Priory Rose Gardens site, following an extensive search for a central Yorkshire location. YAA HQ now features a functional office space, a large hangar for one of its two helicopters and onsite accommodation for its crew.
Tenants often hear the YAA helicopter taking off and rising above the trees from a large helipad at the back of the YAA building. The YAA operates from its Nostell base seven days per week, 365 days per year and greatly appreciates the support of Lord St Oswald and the estate team.
The YAA relies on public donations and fundraising to operate. Click the link below to find out how you can support the charity.

Stroll through the gates of the Estate Yard, and you’ll happen upon the National Trust Nostell, a Georgian treasure house with landscaped parklands and gardens. Dogs love bounding off into 330 unspoilt acres. The Stableyard shop, café and book exchange are a welcome rest stop for walkers. If you’re here without the dog, there’s plenty to discover: a pyramid-shaped Obelisk Lodge, a pretty Menagerie and miles of purpose-built cycle tracks. Please note: admission charges apply to the house and gardens.
