Introducing Meridian At The Nostell Estate

The Nostell Estate is proud to launch our latest development – a social hub for all our businesses and external visitors to enjoy. Meridian at The Nostell Estate is a stunning meeting and event space, right in the heart of our business community.

Meridian takes its name from a Wakefield hero. Namely, John Harrison, who invented a watch based on the ‘prime meridian’, which revolutionised navigation and made sea travel safer. The Nostell Estate wanted to celebrate this local legend and bring his memory to life. We already have a Harrison Suite, and one of Harrison’s famous clocks is just next door at Nostell Priory. As we launch a social hub for our businesses, we had Harrison top of mind.

Open every week day, Meridian offers a welcoming place for The Nostell Estate businesses to network and relax. What’s more, The Happy Food Group will offer a delicious lunchtime menu to order, as well as event catering. Our tenants are welcome to use the spaces for their own meetings and events when Meridian is not in use.

For local businesses, Meridian offers a vibrant event venue near Pontefract, Wakefield, Leeds. Furthermore, The Nostell Estate has great local transport links to the M1 and the M62. Our main room is designed so that it can adapt to your needs, with easy-to-move furniture, and smart ‘snug’ areas.
