Hear from our tenants

We’re building a thriving business community here at The Nostell Estate, and we value all feedback from our tenants. As we launch our new social hub and meeting space, Meridian, we asked the businesses what they think.

Martin Denton, Director at Copperwire Creative, and Buddy

Copperwire Creative

Copperwire Creative is located in the Walled Garden, not far from Meridian. Their director, Martin, chose The Nostell Estate off the back of a recommendation from a client, also based here. The set-up is perfect for their growing business, and for their office dog, Buddy. He explains:

“The estate is fantastic, you feel really well looked after by Peter and the team, and we have lots of friendly neighbours. Our lunchtime walk, run, or ride around the grounds is a perfect break away from the desk.

We cannot recommend the business park highly enough and we are very much looking forward to enjoying the new social hub. Every client who has visited our office has been impressed with the office and surroundings. It has definitely benefited our company being based here. If you are thinking of moving to a new office, then we would definitely recommend The Nostell Estate to you. Maybe we can meet up for a coffee soon at the Meridian Hub!”

Martin certainly seems to be in good company at Meridian, with many visitors already enjoying the lunch menu from The Happy Food Group.

Yvonne Thurley Design

Meanwhile, Yvonne Thurley Design, a long-standing tenant in the estate yard, agrees that Meridian is a welcome addition. Not only was Yvonne responsible for its stunning interior design, but she has also benefitted from spending time there since it opened.

Yvonne comments:

“As a long-term tenant, I have witnessed the evolution of this most beautiful place over 14 years, while developing my own business. Not only has the estate enhanced the image and reputation of Yvonne Thurley Design in that time, but the support from its team has been invaluable. We do feel part of something quite special.

The recent addition of the Meridian is a huge benefit. I have found that over the years, we and other tenants tend to head into our office space and don’t meet with other businesses. Meridian has already demonstrated its worth, allowing us to meet and chat with other tenants. Without a doubt this is another a very beneficial dimension to The Nostell Estate.”

Newport Land & Law

Nostell resident solicitors Newport Land & Law were among the first to use Meridian’s meeting rooms. Anna Newport shares their experience:

“We are absolutely delighted with the new Meridian Facility. We needed space for a meeting with another firm of solicitors, to talk about a collaboration. It seemed like a great opportunity to try the new space. We booked the small, four-person, meeting room. It had facilities for us to hook our computers up to a large TV screen so that we could share information in a usable way.

Leah Schofield from the Happy Food Group, the onsite catering company, provide a Spanish Platter for lunch. It went down a storm. Solicitors are not always the easiest people to please, but there were smiles all round and compliments from the other firm.

Peter from the Estate Office made sure that we were happy with everything (and provided a waitress service, although I don’t think that this is actually the norm).

Both the room and the meal were incredible value for money, and we have booked again for another meeting early next month. I am already looking forward to it.

Try it out, honestly you won’t be disappointed.”
